Join the Celebrations of Crop Over 2009

Crop Over is one of the largest festivals held in the Caribbean, it historically celebrates the end of the Barbados sugar cane crop harvest.

The Crop Over festival officially runs for 5 weeks through July ending with the Grand Finale - Kadooment Day to be held on Monday August 3rd 2009. This is the biggest event on the Barbados calendar, multi colored costumed bands fill the streets with a spectacular parade. Not to be missed!

However the fever is building now throughout Barbados as many great warm up events are being staged island wide;

• 31st May - Pan in de Oval

• 28th June - Thanks Giving & Last Canes
  Independence Square 4.30pm 7pm
