National Heroes Day

Barbados National Heroes Day celebrates the life and achievements of 10 of its most notable citizens - Grantley Adams, Errol Walton Barrow, Sir Garfield Sobers, Sir Frank Leslie Walcott, Sir Hugh Springer, Clement Osbourne Payne, Charles Duncan O'Neal, Samuel Jackman Prescod, Sarah Ann Gill and Bussa - the legendary leader of the slave rebellion. Events & celebrations take place in Hero's Square Bridgetown.

Cavalcade - Crop Over Event

This is one of the warm-up events for this year’s Crop Over festival. Held at Six Roads, St Phillip, starts at 7pm. The Cavalcades are a series of outdoor concerts which are held across the island, thousands of party goers attend.
